My new cookbook, Roots: The Definitive Compendium with more than 225 Recipes is published! I have posted my cooking class and book signing schedule on the homepage. Check out the map and click on a carrot to find out where I’ll be in each state and region. Join me for a class, come to a book signing, taste samples recipes at events. I’d love to see you.
Roots: The Definitive Compendium with more than 225 Recipes has been highlighted in quite a few magazines and newspapers. The October 2012 issue of “O” Magazine features my recipe for Pan-Fried Quinoa Cakes with Sweet Potatoes and Kale. That is one superfood-packed meal.
The October 2012 issue of Sunset Magazine has a fabulous six-page spread focused on my book and the amazing underground world of roots. Edible Portland featured my new book in an article all about carrots written by Ellen Jackson. The website Ecosalon interviewed me for a blog post and it was reprinted in The Huffington Post. Tasting Table highlighted my book with a signed copy giveaway.
As with previous years, my holiday cookbooks, The New Thanksgiving Table: An American Celebration of Family, Friends, and Food, and The Christmas Table get highlighted in newspapers, magazines, and on the web. This past season my books were featured on Epicurious.com, and I was interviewed for Health Magazine, Prevention Magazine, and Every Day with Rachael Ray.
